|Remember where you came from, where you’re going, and why you created the mess you got yourself into in the first place. ~Richard Bach, “Illusions”|
Isn’t that cool? I first read “Illusions, The Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah” by Richard Bach when it came out in 1977. I know – old news. Yet seems just as relevant today as it was in 1977. I have reread it several times since then. Each time I get a new insight about myself, about the world we live in and about what is possible for us while we are hanging out on this small blue planet. Just began reading it again. If you have read it, I look forward to hear how reading Illusions has changed your life. It’s a light-hearted, quirky, mystical, philosopilcal, Masterful read if you haven’t. And all those attributes (and more) are in the first sentence in the book!
Wow! Thirty-six years of illusions!
Actually, it has been thirty-six years of breaking illusions of long held beliefs about who we are and what we can accomplish in our short time on the planet. It is about seeing ourselves and the world differently. That heady task is accomplished with insight into the human condition. Plus miracles. And copious amounts of humor. Lots of it.
