The World Health Organization (WHO) defines health as:
“Health is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity.”
Isn’t that great! Short. Easy to remember. Covers all the bases. Thank you WHO.

A definition of happiness was not so clear cut. I know what happiness feels like, but how to share that with you? None of the definitions I read spoke to me. So, I will leave it up to you. What is happiness for you?
About your friendly neighborhood blogger:
Lots of cool and not so cool things have happened in the last 62 years. I am writing this on June 9, 2012. At 62, I’ve done lots of things and met lots of people. It’s kind of difficult not to do lots of things and meet lots of people if you’ve been hanging around for 62 years.
As of today I have been in recovery from various people, places, things and assorted chemicals for 24 years. What a great way of life.
I have worked with computers since 1969. I was hooked on them when I took my first CAD class. CAD on punched cards no less. Not only did you need to know the CAD program, you needed to know geometry as well. A geek before it was fashionable. Definitely happiness for me.
I started my own business in 1977. More happiness. Since then, Bailey & Associates has had employees, not had employees, sold computers, written programs (COBOL, Java, Smalltalk, Fortran, C, Basic and various DBMS’s). Currently B & A does network admin for individuals and companies. It’s like having a bunch of puzzles to solve.
In 2001 I went to school (Newfield Network) to learn life coaching. Even more happiness. It was a transformative experience. Coaching continues to be a transformative experience. As my clients experience transformations in the way they see the world and what is possible, so do I.
In 2011 I started my Shaklee business. Shaklee is big part of the “health” in health2happiness. Difficult to be happy if you are unhealthy. Because of my own health challenges, I have done a lot of research into western medicine, eastern medicine, herbs, supplements, reiki, massage, shamanism, therapy….. Anything that will help you and me feel better.
Cliff & Chris
Chris and I have been together since 1995. Gobs more happiness. I really like him a lot. We met and first lived in Tulsa. Since 2000 we have lived in Northern Virginia near DC. I really really like the DC area. There are so many different peoples, cultures and languages here. Going to our local CVS is like going to the U.N. Plus, there is way more to do and see here than there is time to do it and see it.
LBC (life before Chris) was very different. I was married to a lovely woman who gave me three great children. Who have, to date (2013), given us five beautiful grand children.
And the beat goes on!
